Job summary

HD Supply in Delaware is seeking a warehouse associate to work across multiple departments within a distribution center, including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment. You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory.

The role requires reading and following written material, strict safety practices, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You should be able to stand for extended periods and work Mon-Fri.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in distribution center roles.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Uses material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas.
• Assists with staging and loading orders for customer delivery.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and DCs.
• Uses packing list information to collect items for customer orders and builds pallets.
• Examines stock items for wear/defects and notifies management of inventory issues.
• Returns misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintains a clean working environment following safety policies.
• Performs inventory control functions as needed.
