Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to sustain production machinery and electrical systems. The role involves fabricating parts, repairing equipment, and supporting facility electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred. Proficiency reading blueprints and basic math is required, plus familiarity with MS Office and maintenance

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is desired.
• Associate Degree or Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, service manuals and maintenance records.
• Understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and electronic control systems, pneumatics, HVAC, rubber industry production equipment internal combustion engines, single and three phase electric motors.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, move, align, erect, or install production/facility/electrical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Design, program, repair and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Systems.
• Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs and general maintenance.
• Diagnose trouble and determine extent of repairs; repair, refit or replace parts.
• Reorder supplies and equipment as needed.
• Lay out carpentry work and specify materials; finishing and masonry work.
