Job summary

HEXPOL Compounding Americas is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep production machinery and electrical systems in peak condition. You will perform installation, testing, and servicing of equipment, repair PLCs, read blueprints, and complete preventive maintenance rounds.

Target candidates have 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to follow precise drawings and maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, service manuals and maintenance records.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and electronic control systems.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with MS Office and maintenance software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, maintain, move, align, or install production equipment and electrical systems.
• Design, program, repair, and maintain PLC systems.
• Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance.
• Diagnose issues and determine extent of repairs; replace parts as needed.
• Adhere to safety rules, wear PPE, and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
