Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 12-hour rotating shift. The role focuses on installing, modifying, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to maximize uptime and minimize costs.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, and familiarity with SAP systems, while adhering to NEC standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and a minimum of three years of multi-craft maintenance experience in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Experience with SAP maintenance systems is preferred.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLC control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, troubleshoot, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to maximize performance and uptime.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, boiler Dowtherm, and other systems; read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Operate and troubleshoot VFDs and plant power distribution; interpret control loops and instrumentation sheets.
• Follow NEC standards and maintain safety and environmental practices.
