Job summary

VYBOND SPECIALTY ADHESIVES LLC in Franklin, KY is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production with reliable equipment and quick problem solving. You will manage maintenance tasks from start to finish and collaborate with operations to minimize downtime.

The role requires reading blueprints and electrical schematics, performing preventive maintenance, and helping install or modify equipment. Overtime may be required; safety and GMP adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in applied science or 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and process equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, control systems, motors, PLCs, and mechanical components.
• Assist in or lead construction, installation, and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production personnel on major repairs, projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical, mechanical, and process related equipment issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment.
• Install, repair, modify, and maintain electrical systems, control systems, motors, PLCs, and mechanical components.
• Assist in or lead the construction, installation, and startup of new or modified equipment.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation in accordance with company requirements.

• Perform fabrication, part replacement, and mechanical adjustments as required.
• Conduct equipment safety inspections and ensure compliance with GMP, safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Move materials, parts, and equipment as necessary to support maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
