Job summary

Virginia Linen Service Services, Inc. is hiring a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician in Petersburg, VA. This role leads preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in industrial maintenance and strong troubleshooting abilities to keep critical equipment running. The company offers year-round stability, medical/dental/vision, disability and life insurance,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose failures and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.
• Replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, conveyors, belts, chains, and other components.
• Install and align machinery using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Install conduit, wiring, electrical controls, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and switches.
• Use multimeters, megohm meters, amp meters, and other electrical testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot VFDs, motor starters, control circuits, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Diagnose control system faults using HMI interfaces.
