Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is expanding its maintenance team at the Richland facility. The Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician Technician role focuses on diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems across plant equipment.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and work within a safety-first culture. Two years of industrial maintenance experience and the ability to read blueprints and manuals are required.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Minimum two years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, tables, charts, etc.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and align equipment to tolerances.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and steam systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to maximize uptime.
• Work as part of a team in a safety-focused manufacturing environment.
• Follow all safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• Remain flexible to shift assignments and overtime as needed.
• Develop multi-craft skills through training.
