Amcor is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician in Kentucky to support production equipment and facility systems. You will perform skilled maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors to minimize downtime while maintaining safety standards.
The role requires strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and experience with CMMS/JDE for work orders and parts management. A team-focused, detail-oriented approach is essential.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, including a working knowledge of electrical systems (advanced electrical knowledge is highly desired), along with developed mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics skillsets. Experience with hand and power tools a must. Knowledge in machinery used in flexographic printing and blown film manufacturing highly desired. Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to non-technical team members in a clear manner. Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. Able to apply right mathematical methods and formulas to problem solving. Able to create alternative solutions to problems. High level of sound and independent judgment and reasoning. Strong personal and communication skills. Must work well with cross-functional teams. Ability to handle multiple projects. Must have strong computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret standard technical documentation such as electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic schematics, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
