Kalmbach Feeds in Carey, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment. You will work with safety systems and CMMS, requiring autonomy and a proactive approach to support plant goals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance in manufacturing, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, PLC troubleshooting preferred, ability to read electrical prints, lift 50 lbs, and be ready for various shifts and overtime; a GED/HS diploma is

Qualifications

• GED/HS diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience; 5 years preferred.
• Safety/OSHA knowledge and a valid driver’s license with no suspensions.
• Electrical and mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical prints.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds minimum and work on raised platforms.
• Some tasks outdoors in all kinds of weather and overtime may be required.

Responsabilités

• Repair, replace, remove, or modify equipment to fix feed manufacturing problems.
• Maintain accurate daily records in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Diagnose, evaluate, and repair mechanical, electrical, and/or structural issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep tools/areas organized for safety and efficiency.
• Operate tow motors, pallet jacks, and aerial lifts as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE, including respirators when necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments and respond to production needs promptly.
