Job summary

Elmet Technologies LLC in Euclid, Ohio seeks a Multi-Craft Maintenance Electrician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures across a range of manufacturing equipment. You will repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with Production and Engineering to enhance equipment reliability.

The role requires reading schematics, diagnosing problems, and implementing fixes on electrical systems and controls.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Industrial electrical and maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
Ability to troubleshoot 24V–480V systems and safety circuits.
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and Rockwell PLCs.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on industrial production equipment.
Diagnose and repair 24V–480V electrical systems and safety circuits.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including Rockwell PLCs.
Work with VFDs, HMIs, motor-control systems, servos, and instrumentation.
Troubleshoot sensors and controls (photo eyes, proximity sensors).
Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and document repairs.
Communicate status and needs to Production and leadership.
Support equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.
