Job summary

DuBose Strapping & Packaging is seeking experienced Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Technicians for both day and night shift positions. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities and can work independently. This hands-on position supports 36/48 rotating schedule and includes 12-hour night shifts, with weekends/holidays in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Experience working around automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Must understand and follow Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety procedures.
• Must be dependable and capable of working independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial production and packaging equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs.
• Diagnose electrical problems using schematics, multimeters, and other test equipment.
• Troubleshoot motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, sensors, switches, VFDs, and control circuits.
• Repair and replace bearings, gearboxes, belts, shafts, and other mechanical components.
• Troubleshoot pneumatic cylinders, valves, regulators, solenoids, and air systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedules.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance calls.
• Identify root causes and recommend permanent corrective actions.
• Assist with equipment installation, modifications, upgrades, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Perform basic fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding as required.
• Maintain maintenance records and communicate issues during shift turnover.
