Job summary

24 Hour Fitness in Gladstone, OR is seeking an Equipment Technician to manage repair and preventive maintenance of cardio, strength, and functional equipment across multiple clubs. You will help ensure equipment stays safe, reliable, and aligned with company standards.

The role collaborates with General Managers and the DRMM, performs on-site diagnostics, logs repairs in ServiceChannel, and stays current through vendor trainings. A strong mechanical background and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in equipment repair or related mechanical work (fitness equipment preferred).
• OEM certifications from Life Fitness, Matrix, Precor, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair cardio, strength, and functional equipment across clubs.
• Document all PM tasks per manufacturer and company schedules.
• Maintain parts inventory and coordinate reorders.
• Log repairs in ServiceChannel or other maintenance systems.
• Partner with OEMs/vendors for specialized parts or support.
• Provide repair status updates to the DRMM and GMs.
• Train club staff on basic care and early failure reporting.
