Job Description:

NDi is seeking a multi-cloud solutions architect with a strong technical background and extensive experience in full stack development, business analysis, risk management, data-driven investment control, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, engineering, software architecture design, DevOps, communication skills, big data design, and enterprise data platform design. • This role is onsite (5 days a week) in Washington, DC.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise IT architecture, systems integration, and software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DevOps, TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Architect) are a plus.
• Experience in risk identification, testing, and management within computer systems or networks.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, and their services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Azure App Service, GCP Compute Engine).

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full system lifecycle, including design, development, implementation, and support using agile methodologies.
• Design and develop IT solutions aligned with business needs and enterprise architecture.
• Deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on Azure and AWS.
• Support process improvements and evaluate system architecture.
• Create and refine procedures, processes, and system designs.
• Ensure the architecture team can deliver effective system solutions.
• Design solutions that meet business needs and align with IT strategy and modernization plans.
• Work with major application platforms such as Azure, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Build strong relationships across business and IT teams.
• Develop scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Lead and mentor delivery teams, fostering a respectful and high-performing culture.
• Apply architecture development and design thinking in agile environments.
• Adapt delivery techniques to ensure project success.
• Develop others' architecture capabilities within the organization.
• Maintain awareness of related domains like networks and cybersecurity.
• Communicate complex topics clearly and accessibly.
• Use insight and judgment to make efficient, pragmatic decisions.
• Stay hands-on with key technologies and assess new technologies commercially.
• Promote operational safety and digital security in architectures and processes.
