Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Cloud/Operations Analyst to analyze AWS and Azure environments, monitor performance, and drive cost optimization. You will develop dashboards, support ITSM/ITOM reporting, and participate in disaster recovery planning across cloud/hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in cloud/operations analysis, strong data visualization skills (Excel/Power BI/Tableau), and experience with governance and enterprise architectures. This role is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 4+ years in business process or cloud/IT operations analysis.
• Experience analyzing AWS and/or Azure environments with performance metrics.
• Proven ability to create reports/dashboards (Excel/Power BI/Tableau).
• Ability to analyze cloud cost and usage for optimization.
• Experience supporting ITSM/ITOM processes and reporting.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture and governance.
• Experience DR planning and continuity tracking.
• Ability to document processes and governance artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze AWS and Azure environments to support provisioning, ops, and performance monitoring.
• Evaluate cloud systems against architecture and governance standards with Cloud teams.
• Monitor trends and reliability metrics to identify improvements.
• Develop reports/dashboards for visibility into cloud performance and cost.
• Coordinate testing for production deployments ensuring readiness.
• Support ITSM/ITOM reporting including incidents and changes.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Track cloud cost/usage trends and support FinOps reporting.
• Report on SLA performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Document processes and governance artifacts across teams.
