Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Digital Video and Photography Editor to produce day-to-day video and photography content across Retail, Autocentre and internal channels. You will collaborate with the Studio Manager to deliver engaging assets for social media and websites, ensuring content aligns with brand, strategy and tone of voice.

You will lead post-production, manage equipment, and push for improvements, including AI integrations, while delivering outputs for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and more.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud for video and photography editing.
• Ability to craft brand-aligned post-production edits for multiple channels.
• Experience producing content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with a team of creatives to design post-production edits for video and photography.
• Use Adobe Creative Cloud to produce edits, motion graphics, color grading and audio mixing.
• Create content for various formats and platforms across digital and social channels.
• Deliver video and photography that are on-brand and meet deadlines.
• Act as brand guardian ensuring adherence to brand and digital strategy.
• Maintain and prepare video/photography equipment.
• Identify improvements, software/hardware/AI integrations for content.
• Upload requests and align supplier content with branding and deadlines.
• Plan briefs and storyboards with Studio Manager for pre-production.
• Output across channels including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Web.
• Output creative content in studio and lifestyle environments.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, Lightroom.
• Create bespoke animation/motion graphics for in-house brands.
• Own post-production, delivering final assets for multiple channels.
• Think creatively and strategically, exploring new techniques.
