Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician to support operations in South Roxana, IL. This is a nested and local callout position. The role involves setting up NDT equipment, performing inspections, and reporting results with several certifications.

The candidate should hold Level II certifications across RT/MT/PT/UT/VT and other methods, with a strong technical background in NDT and experience in producing clear inspection reports.

Position Summary

Acuren is currently recruiting for a Multi-Cert NDT Level II Technician to help support operations in South Roxana, IL. THIS WILL BE A NESTED AND LOCAL CALLOUT POSITION.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspectionsMay instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, PMI, CR and DR any combination.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
