Job summary

Acuren Inc. is seeking a Mulit-Cert NDT Level II Technician to support operations in Cincinnati, OH. This role requires travel to client sites and will involve performing NDT inspections across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, conducting inspections per standards, interpreting results, and reporting findings. Supervisory duties may be required in the field.

Qualifications

• NDT Level II certification in RT/MT/PT/UT/VT/CR/DR (any combination).
• Knowledge of NDT equipment and techniques.
• Ability to interpret inspection results and write reports.
• Safety regulations and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Certified Level II RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, PMI, CR, DR (any combination)
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
• Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
• Knowledge of NDT equipment
• Experience in report writing
