Job summary

Bosselman Enterprises is hiring a Pump Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations at the Pump & Pantry location, ensuring quality food service across brands, managing production plans, and maintaining a clean, safe, compliant facility.

The role trains staff, enforces recipes and quality checks, and leads opening/closing procedures while controlling waste and costs. The ideal candidate communicates well, lifts up to 50 lbs, and can work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months food handling or food service experience is required.
• Ability to read and follow product specifications.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Flexibility and adaptability to change as needed.
• Strong communication skills.
• Professional appearance and attire.
• Availability to work holidays, weekends, and any other required shift(s).

Responsibilities

• Develops and holds team members accountable; manages performance issues and corrective actions.
• Oversees food preparation and service across all brands, ensuring adherence to recipes, production plans, and consistent high quality.
• Maintains cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the kitchen to brand standards.
• Reports maintenance, customer and personnel issues to upper management.
• Manages portion control, minimizes waste, and ensures proper waste procedures are followed.
• Uses production planning tools to ensure correct food at the correct times and quantities.
• Conducts regular quality checks on food preparation and service.
• Trains staff on policies, procedures and performance expectations.
• Performs opening and closing procedures with required documentation.
• Ensures health and safety regulations are followed.
• Provides friendly customer service across all food brands.
• Fills in during staffing shortages.
