Job summary

Position Summary

We are seeking a Multi-Axis Machine Operator & Programmer to support precision fabrication of aerospace and defense components. Desired Skills/Experience

• Experience with SURFCAM CAM software
• Experience operating Mazak and/or Haas CNC machining centers
• Experience with 5‑axis machining operations
• CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar)
• Familiarity with aerospace or defense manufacturing environments
• Experience with metrology equipment (CMM, digital gauging)

Required Skills/Experience

• Demonstrated experience operating and programming multi‑axis CNC machining centers (3‑axis minimum; 4/5‑axis preferred)
• Ability to develop and optimize CNC programs from engineering drawings and models
• Proficiency in setup, tooling selection, fixturing, and work‑holding for complex parts
• Experience machining aluminum, steel, and other aerospace‑grade alloys to tight tolerances
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
• Previous experience with hand and power tools
• High School graduate or equivalent; technical/vocational training or associate degree preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods working in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be able to lift 50lbs often and work standing up for a full 8-hour shift
