Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators and CNC Machinists for multiple manufacturing clients in our local area. The role involves setting up, operating and maintaining multi-axis CNC machines, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Pay ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, with higher rates for experienced CNC programmers or setup specialists. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, CAD/blueprint literacy, and precision

Qualifications

Experience with CNC machining and setup required.
Reading blueprints and specifications.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).
CNC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain multi-axis CNC machines and equipment.
Read and understand blueprints, mechanical drawings and specification sheets.
Prepare raw materials and load and unload parts for CNC production.
Monitor machining operations to ensure parts meet required specifications.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers and indicators.
Work with tight tolerances up to .0001 inch.
Document inspections using PC-based software and generate inspection reports.
Generate and maintain CNC programs for specific product lines when required.
Make adjustments and improvements to CNC processes to improve production results.
Perform daily machine maintenance to ensure proper operation.
Maintain and understand daily production records.
Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency.
