Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our Texas facility. The role focuses on programming, setup, and operation of multi-axis CNC lathes and mills to meet exact specifications, ensuring high-precision components for tooling and ground support equipment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, proficiency in Mastercam/Aspire, and capability in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma practices, with readiness for 2nd shift work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 6+ years of experience on multi-axis lathes and mills or other CNC machines.
• Experience using Mastercam or Aspire for CNC programming.
• Experience with open setup inspection and CMMs.
• Experience applying Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints and drawings to determine machining methods, sequences, and tolerances.
• Sets up multi-axis CNC lathes and mills to precise tolerances per drawings.
• Programs and operates multiple CNC machines to meet production schedules.
• Measures and inspects parts using precision instruments to confirm specifications.
• Supports metalworking projects from planning through inspection and testing.
• Cleans and maintains machines, tools, and cutting equipment.
