Job Description

Help Chicagoans find their next home!

We are seeking a Portfolio Leasing Consultant to join our growing team! The position will lease at multiple Group Fox properties - receiving commission, bonuses, a base salary, and benefits. The Portfolio Leasing Consultant operates similar to an apartment locator or broker, but is a full-time Group Fox employee eligible for employment benefits. The role requires a flexible schedule including working all weekends. Candidates are required to travel between multiple properties and provide their own means of transportation.

Responsibilities:

• Accept, organize, and respond to all telephone and email leads in a timely manner
• Tour multiple Group Fox properties; greet prospects, present professionally the features and benefits of the property
• Assist all prospects through the lease application process including completing all proof of income, lease documents, and accepting payment
• Work with apartment locators and brokers
• Properly communicate and follow up with all inquiries, prospective residents as well as current residents
• Attend marketing events and assist in leasing initiatives as needed
• Perform administrative duties and responsibilities associated with your position
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude, appropriately represent Group Fox at all times
• Must meet monthly rental quota
  
  

Qualifications:

• Illinois driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle is required
• Experience in sales, marketing, or outreach
• Experience in apartment leasing
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leasing license required (within 30 days of employment)
