Job summary

Pitcairn, a long-established wealth advisory firm, seeks an Investment Analyst to support research and due diligence across public equities, fixed income, real assets, hedge funds, and private markets within our Family Office Group. You will help build and maintain client portfolios and learn how asset classes fit together.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in business/finance/economics, 2–4 years in investment roles, advanced Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with platforms such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related quantitative field.
• 2–4 years in investment or investment-adjacent roles: investment management, due diligence, research, performance reporting, asset allocation, or investment consulting.
• Familiarity with asset classes: public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity or private credit, or real assets.
• Exposure to asset allocation frameworks and the math underpinning mean-variance optimization and the efficient frontier.
• Advanced Excel; PowerPoint skills highly desired.
• Familiarity with institutional research platforms such as Morningstar, PitchBook, Venn, Tamarac, Backstop Solutions, and CENTRL; experience with AI tools, SQL, or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence and manager research across asset classes, including background work, performance and risk analysis, and drafting investment memos.
• Help maintain coverage of managers on the platform, prepare for update calls, track changes, and flag opportunities for closer review.
• Contribute to investment analyses, educational pieces, and presentations for the Family Office Group, clients, and prospects.
• Assist with asset allocation modeling and portfolio analytics informing recommendations and scenario analyses.
• Maintain Pitcairn's investment data and research management system across technology platforms.
