Job summary

Invesco is seeking an ETF Trading professional in New York to help execute trades across asset classes, adhering to SEC and SRO regulations. You will work under senior traders, gain exposure to equity markets, derivatives, commodities, and portfolio implementation strategies, and contribute to efficient ETF platform management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in asset management, trading, capital markets, investment operations, portfolio analytics, or a related financial services role.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way
• Prior trading experience or knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminal.
• FINRA Series 57 license required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of senior traders, execute trades in accordance with SEC and SRO regulations while adhering to best execution standards.
• Trade multi-asset orders associated with index events, rebalances & reconstitutions, rolls and creation/redemptions using a variety of trading strategies, technologies and market venues.
• Partner closely with fund managers to provide market intelligence, discuss implementation considerations, and identify opportunities to improve executions outcomes.
• Act as a liaison between the trading desk and supporting functions, including capital markets, investment operations, compliance, legal, and other stakeholders to resolve issues that arise.
• Maintain awareness of developments in market structure, liquidity, regulations and trading technology.
• Participate in meetings with brokers and other industry representatives to develop relationships, gather market intelligence, and stay informed of industry trends.
