Job summary

Performance Electrical Contracting Inc. seeks a hands-on Foreman to lead a crew on a multifamily commercial project. You will read blueprints, coordinate with the GC and trades, and drive on-site production while ensuring safety and inspection readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with at least 2 years as foreman or lead.
• Multifamily project experience preferred (apartments, condos, mixed-use).
• Strong working knowledge of the NEC.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage to a project schedule.
• Clear communicator who can lead a crew and coordinate with GCs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation of service, distribution, feeders, branch circuits, unit wiring, and low‑voltage/fire alarm coordination.
• Plan daily and weekly manpower, material needs, and production goals.
• Coordinate with the General Contractor, other trades, and PEC project management.
• Schedule and walk inspections; resolve corrections quickly.
• Enforce jobsite safety, lead toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance.
• Track and submit timesheets, daily reports, change‑order documentation, and material requests.
• Train and develop crew members and hold the team to PEC’s quality standards.

THE ROLE

You’ll run the job on site: leading the crew, driving production, coordinating with the GC and other trades, and making sure the work passes inspection. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who knows multifamily construction and takes ownership of the outcome.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
