Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a MuleSoft API Developer to design and implement API-led connectivity using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on building RESTful integrations and RAML specifications while ensuring secure, scalable API governance.

The ideal candidate will work across DEV/QA/PROD environments, leveraging Anypoint Studio for development and adhering to API Manager policies and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integration flows using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Implement API-led connectivity across System, Process, and Experience layers.
• Build integrations using Anypoint Studio.
• Create and manage RAML/API specifications.
• Monitor and support Mule applications in DEV/QA/PROD.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Work with HTTP, JMS, JDBC, and ODBC protocols.
• Handle data formats JSON and XML.
• Apply security measures including OAuth, TLS, and token-based authentication.
• Establish API policies using API Manager (rate limiting, throttling, IP whitelisting).
