We are currently hiring a Mulesoft Dev Lead & Architect professional. The ideal candidate has experience with IT Infrastructure/Systems Architecture work developing the core technical platform, capabilities, and services that support business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects API delivery & Integration built using MuleSoft platform based on Alcon standards & guidelines. Adjust standards/guidelines where appropriate to support the organization


• Responsible for all aspects of Mulesoft platform engineering and Operations standards such as administration, configuration, and support of the MuleSoft platform, Security & UAM, platform upgrades, HA & D/R strategy, Quality Controls and Documentation, Optimize MuleSoft vCore utilitzation


• Coordinate across functional teams to proactively identify and implement reusable foundational services/APIs using API led architecture


• Conduct in depth code reviews


• Guide & mentor Alcon MuleSoft junior associates.

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)


• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English


• 5 Years of Relevant Experience


• Work hours: Standard Monday - Friday


• Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• MuleSoft developer/architect certifications are desirable


• Ability to design solution with the mix of legacy (on-prem) and modern cloud-based architectures


• Able to guide other IT teams to use MuleSoft as a platform and establish coding/security guidelines along with industry best MuleSoft implementation practices


• Use Agile methodologies or Traditional project management skills to ensure successful and high speed implementations of Trading Partners.


• Experience integrating SAP PI/PO, SalesForce, WorkDay and Cloud hosted SAAS applications will be advantageous
