Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The Integration Engineer will be involved in and expected to:

• Learn and adhere to all current departmental processes, standards, and procedures.
• Participate in pair programming activities with Senior and Consulting level engineers.
• Completing unit testing and submit work for code review.
• Assisting with Functional/Integrated System and User Acceptance Testing
• Assisting with promotion of application from development to QA to production.
• Supporting existing integration at Level 2.
• Periodic on-call support 7 x 24 as required through rotation (including some holidays).
• Design and develop Integration interfaces using tooling mentioned above as experience allows.
• Exploring non-Integration Services development languages like .Net and others to create integration support tools for the HealthTrust Integration Services Team.

• Familiarity with Lean/Agile techniques in development environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

• Sitting at desk for 4 to 5 hours at a time viewing monitor and typing.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when assigned on-call responsibilities.
• Some light travel may be required (less than 10%).
