Job summary

Genesis seeks a MuleSoft Architect/Designer to design integrations for a nationwide federal transformation. You’ll turn complex business and connectivity requirements into scalable APIs, guiding developers and working directly with clients to move solutions from requirements through production readiness.

The role requires deep MuleSoft expertise, SAP integration experience, and strong architecture communication.

Qualifications

7+ years hands-on experience designing and implementing MuleSoft integrations.
SAP integration experience.
MuleSoft Architect Certification.
Expertise in MuleSoft SaaS platform administration, integration architecture, and API design and development.
Experience leading development teams and establishing engineering standards.
Strong client-facing communication and cross-team collaboration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience or Master’s with 6–8 years.

Responsibilities

Own integration design: translate requirements into MuleSoft architectures and API designs.
Build and deliver: design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise integrations (including SAP connections).
Guide the development team: establish CI/CD, observability, error handling, documentation, and architecture.
Drive technical quality: lead design walkthroughs, code reviews, and cross‑project decisions.
Partner with clients: present designs and findings to technical teams and stakeholders.
Support reliable operations: administer MuleSoft SaaS platform, support production environments, and propose improvements.
