Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a MuleSoft Developer to design and implement API gateway solutions on-site in Plano, TX. The role focuses on developing custom policies, securing APIs with SSL/OAuth2, and integrating with CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration with architects and operations is essential.

Strong hands-on MuleSoft/DataWeave experience is required, along with knowledge of RAML/OpenAPI, and monitoring tools for performance and reliability. On-site with a 12+ month duration.

Qualifications

• Proven MuleSoft API gateway design and development experience.
• Hands-on work with custom policies and security controls.
• Experience with RAML/OpenAPI specifications and Anypoint Platform.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and GitHub workflows.
• Awareness of performance tuning and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement MuleSoft API gateway solutions to meet requirements.
• Configure and customize MuleSoft policies for security and performance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers and operations teams.
• Provide best-practice guidance on MuleSoft API gateway development.
• Create and maintain design documents, user guides, and release notes.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging MuleSoft solutions.
• Troubleshoot API Gateway issues and resolve them promptly.
• Utilize ELK, Dynatrace, and Anypoint Monitoring for observability.
• Draft API specifications and implement in Anypoint Platform.
• Build reusable components and libraries for multiple projects.
