Job summary

Truist seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain complex solutions across the full software lifecycle. You will deliver scalable, reliable applications and mentor junior engineers in an Agile environment.

You will work with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, REST/SOAP APIs, and modern CI/CD practices using GitLab. A Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of software engineering experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and IT best practices.
• Understanding of key business processes related to IT functions.
• Ability to design, develop and test complex APIs using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, REST/SOAP API methodology, OAuth/JWT/MTLS authentication, CI/CD (GitLab).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's complex solutions.
• Develop integrations and APIs using MuleSoft and related tools.
• Adhere to company and industry standards and provide technical consultation on challenging situations.
• Write and run unit tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and act as the technical expert on the team.
• In Agile: act as an Agile champion and deliver high quality working software, refine user stories, and support testing.
