NES Fircroft is seeking a Mud Engineer with West Oklahoma experience to prepare drilling fluids and oversee mud system operation onsite. You will work with drilling engineers to optimize fluid properties and ensure compliant operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare the drilling fluids for drilling operations.
  • Oversee the drilling fluid mud cleaning system’s operation.
  • Assist in optimizing flushing fluids and cleaning equipment modes.
  • Recommend optimal operating modes for cleaning fluid stages.
  • Recommend replacements to maintain drilling fluid properties.
  • Ensure compliance with labor discipline and safety regulations.
  • Minimize waste associated with draining fluids.
  • Collaborate with drilling engineers and technicians on cost-effective drilling.
  • Prepare the correct amount of drilling fluids for drilling.
  • Assist technicians during the drilling process.
  • Assist in the selection of drill bits.

Mud Engineer

Job Duties:



  • Prepare the drilling fluids for drilling operations.

  • Overseesthe drilling fluid mud cleaning system’s operation.
