Job summary

Astrion is seeking an MTT Trainer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on counter-unmanned aircraft systems training, with emphasis on C-UAS operations, scheduling, and program integration to achieve operational objectives.

The trainer will deliver hands-on instruction, develop and maintain training materials, and coordinate with leadership on updates. Travel up to 35% may be required to support mission needs.

Qualifications

• Active DoD security clearance required.

• Ability to deploy overseas; medical requirements for OCONUS deployments.

Responsibilities

• Plan each MTT cycle, including scheduling, resource allocation, personnel and facilities.
• Manage technical requirements to meet MTT objectives.
• Review/write Programs of Instruction (POI) and Training Support Packages (TSP) for accuracy.
• Provide hands-on instruction on C-UAS systems and ensure student competency through testing.
• Coordinate with PM C-RAM Leadership on MTT updates and feedback.
• Deploy as needed to support contingency operations.

Overview MTT Trainer

LOCATION: Huntsville, AL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: Travel up to 35% Astrion is seeking a MTT Trainer to support our customer in Huntsville, AL. Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) MTT trainer will have knowledge or related expertise in C-UAS operations. Knowledge of Command and Control Systems, Kinetic C-UAS technologies, experience with complex DoD System of Systems capabilities, and knowledge of radar operations is preferred.

• Must possess an active and transferable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level to start work and must be able to obtain TS clearance. Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years-10 years' work experience or 9 years' experience with no degree
• Must demonstrate prior experience and expertise in program integration, scheduling, acquisition strategies.
• Must be able to deploy in support of overseas contingency operations. OCONUS deployments will have applicable medical requirements.
• May require the ability and willingness to travel up to 35%.
• Previous experience developing Integrated Master Schedules desired. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Managing technical requirements in order for the MTT to accomplish its objectives.
• Managing, reviewing and writing Programs of Instruction (POI) and Training Support Packages (TSP) and technical manuals for accuracy and completeness.
• Be able to provide hands-on instruction on C-UAS systems and employment. Ensure student understanding and capability through evaluated hands-on and written testing.
• Communicate with PM C-RAM Leadership on MTT updates, status, and student feedback.
• Be able to deploy in support of overseas contingency operations.
