Job summary

Unionville-Chadds Ford School District in Kennett Square, PA seeks an MTSS Specialist to lead MTSS processes and provide targeted interventions to improve student outcomes. The role collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based practices and strengthen foundational skills.

Required certifications include Reading Specialist PK-12 and/or Special Education PK-12, a Bachelor’s in Education (Master’s preferred), and at least three years of classroom teaching

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education required; Master’s preferred.
• Reading Specialist PK-12 and/or Special Education PK-12 certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years of classroom teaching experience.
• Experience with literacy assessments and reading interventions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and data-analysis skills.
• Proficiency with using technology to support instruction and data management.

Responsibilities

• Direct student support with targeted, evidence-based interventions in reading and math.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data.
• Provide professional development and coaching for teachers.
