Ashley Furniture Distribution Center in Fredericksburg, VA is hiring Delivery Drivers. Full-time role with a Tue-Fri schedule, 7:30 a.m.–6 p.m. You will deliver furniture, inspect, wrap, and load items, using proper moving equipment and safe lifting techniques.

Requirements include a valid Virginia driver’s license, clean driving record, background check, and drug screen. CDL is not required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, paid vacation, 401(k), disability, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid VA driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screenings.
• CDL is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers in a timely, professional manner.
• Inspect, wrap, pack, load/unload, and assemble furniture as needed.
• Operate 24-26ft straight/box trucks and use moving equipment safely.

Ideal candidates will have moving experience in the furniture industry, ability to lift 100 + lbs., a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team.This is a full time position that requires working a Tuesday-Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (10 hrs)In this role, you must possess a valid VA drivers license, clean driving record, pass a criminal background investigation, and drug screenings.
