Victaulic is seeking a skilled MTC Machinist – Tool Maker / Mold Maker to read blueprints, interpret drawings, and program CNC equipment. The role requires operating 3-axis CNC mills, lathes, and turning centers, with experience in G/M code and tool setup.

Ability to use precision measuring tools and lift equipment is essential. Day-to-day duties include maintaining tool quality, setting up fixtures, and following safety and QA procedures.

• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators and common machining tools.
• Write and edit G code and M code programs as required.
• Operate 3 axis vertical CNC mills; CNC mills, lathes, turning centers.
• Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.
• Maintain safe, organized workspace and adherence to QA procedures.

POSITION: MTC MACHINIST – TOOL MAKER / MOLD MAKER

LOCATION: MOLD TECHNOLOGY CENTER at VICTAULIC GLOBAL

HEADQUARTERS (EASTON, PA)

REPORTS TO: GROUP LEADER

MOLD TECHNOLOGY CENTER:

Mold Tech Center builds and maintains Rubber molds for all Victaulic facilities worldwide.

JOB SUMMARY:

Read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and interpret GD&T.

Use micrometers, calipers, indicators and all common machining tools.

Able to use basic math, geometry and trigonometry.

Set up and operate machines by installing pallets, vises, tombstones, and fixtures.

Maintains specifications by taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift.

Write and Edit G code and M code programs as required.

Operate 3 axis vertical CNC Mills.

Operate CNC Mills Lathes and Turning Centers.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

Maintain equipment using preventative maintenance.

Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

Experience in rubber mold building preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Required to lift up to 50 lbs.

Moderate walking, standing, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Work around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts.

SKILLS AND EDUCATION:

2+ Years Technical schooling preferred.

5+ years on the job experience preferred.

High School graduate will be considered.

Able to work well with others.

HOURS OF OPERATION :

Day shift: 40 Hours. Overtime as required.

JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent

SCHEDULE: 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday
