Job summary

Relyans Max Group is seeking a Maintenance Tech level 1 to perform light to heavy repairs, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and plumbing tasks in a manufacturing setting. You will fabricate components, troubleshoot, and follow diagrams to diagnose issues under supervision.

The role requires operating and maintaining production equipment, welding and fabrication, and ensuring safety and housekeeping standards, with opportunities to contribute to team results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
• Hi-Lo, manlift, and crane license is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of machinery by completing preventative maintenance requirements on all production equipment.
• Perform minor building maintenance, including problems with heating, plumbing, electrical and structural with supervision.
• Intermediate trouble shooting abilities to locate source of problems by observing device, listening for problems, and using testing instruments.
• Follow manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, sketches, operation manuals, and diagrams to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with supervision.
• Welding, altering, and fabrication of components on machinery using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
• Replace, fix, or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specifications
• Movement of equipment, both internal and external
• Removal of defective components using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools
• Assist in safety and housekeeping repairs
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Look up spare parts in computer
• Fill out work orders and repair slips

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs all necessary light duty repairs including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing. Light to heavy duty fabrication within the organization.
