Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin is hiring a Medical Technologist-Reg or Medical Laboratory Technician-Reg at Capitol Clinic Laboratory. Full-time, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional weekends and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
The MT/MLT Performs tests in Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis with strong QC and tech support responsibilities across locations. Requirements include BS in Medical Technology or related science, ASCP/AMT MT or equivalent certifications, CPR within 4 months,

Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends.

The Medical Technologist (MT) – Registered is responsible for performing laboratory procedures as ordered by a provider. Medical Technologists - Registered work as generalists in the areas of: Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis. Responsibilities include performance of lab tests from all Group Health Cooperative of South-Central Wisconsin (GHC-SCW) locations in any or all departments; performance of quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance functions; collection of specimens; and other tasks as assigned. This position is also responsible for provision of technical support to Medical Laboratory Technicians, providers, and other GHC-SCW internal staff. The MT - Registered works under the general supervision and guidance of the Medical Laboratory Services Manager, Medical Technologist – Chief and/or Medical Technologist – Lead.
