OhioGuidestone offers a Masters level internship designed to immerse students in providing individual, group, and family therapy. You will refine assessment, counseling theory, crisis intervention, and meticulous documentation while advocating for clients. This internship may lead to a full-time counseling role.

Minimum education is working toward a Master’s Degree in Social Work. SWT trainee status may be required for graduate level internships.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MSW degree as graduate student.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Ability to maintain documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as needed.
• Assist with assessment, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and records.
• Collaborate with experienced professionals to support client care.
• Participate in treatment conferences and clinical discussions.
• Support staff and clients in a respectful, non-judgmental environment.
