Job summary

Agile Defense in Honolulu, HI is seeking a MSS Developer Engineer to design and deliver mission-critical analytics applications. You will build dashboards, data pipelines, and platform components on the Palantir MSS stack to support J7 mission workflows.

Required: BS in CS/engineering or quantitative field, 4+ years of software/data engineering, 1.5+ years with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS, plus an active US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a quantitative discipline with Palantir experience substituting.
• 4+ years of software or data engineering experience (data analysis or data science considered).
• Hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS (1.5+ years).
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards, applications, or pipelines for operational end users.
• Active US government security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards, applications, and pipelines aligned to mission workflows.
• Create intuitive, self-service capabilities for operators to explore data.
• Develop data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and Palantir stack.
• Ensure AI/AIP workflows have well-modeled data foundations and surfaced outputs.
• Create visualizations and tools for data exploration and scenario analysis.
• Optimize data models and query performance; support day-to-day operator needs.
• Contribute reusable platform content and document data sources and methodologies.
