Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tier 2 Field Technician to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing advanced technical support, on-site client services, and contribute to our company's commitment to exceptional IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site technical support and troubleshooting for client networks, systems, and infrastructure
  • Respond to and resolve complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 support
  • Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations
  • Manage client site visits 2-3 times per week, coordinating with internal dispatch team
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation and service reports
  • Diagnose and resolve network, server, and workstation problems
  • Provide remote and on-site support for various client environments
  • Assist in developing and implementing technical solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a managed service environment
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and hardware infrastructure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Professional certifications (A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSA)
