Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and related conditions in Missouri to serve as the primary scientific resource for OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers. The role aims to advance Amgen’s product strategy and improve patient outcomes through expert scientific exchange.

You will operate in a field-based US Medical team reporting to an Obesity MSL Field Director, driving data-driven conversations and collaborating across One Amgen functions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree.
• Or Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Peer-to-peer engagement with Obesity and related conditions Opinion Leaders, community healthcare providers and PHDMs to discuss scientific data.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support the Obesity and related conditions pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to PHDMs and institutions.
• Connect external and internal stakeholders to amplify Amgen’s reach for patients.
• Conduct in-depth scientific exchange to provide balanced data compliant with MSL standards.
• Support Amgen sponsored research and may serve as a study lead.

Education

Doctorate degree

Master’s degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience
