Job summary

IQVIA’s Medical Affairs team seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison to advance pre-launch readiness for HDV across US Central. You will identify HDV centres, build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with HCPs and KOLs, and contribute to strategic territory planning with compliant scientific engagement.

Travel up to 70% nationwide; support ongoing clinical trial activities and engage with investigators and site personnel to inform decision-making and readiness for launch.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical, medical, or scientific degree required.
• Prior MSL experience required.
• Demonstrated experience conducting credible, compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange with HCPs and KOLs.
• Valid driver’s license and travel ability within territory.

Responsibilities

• Pre-launch readiness and HDV ecosystem development.
• Identify, map, and engage HDV stakeholders in the territory.
• Develop understanding of local healthcare environment and patient pathways.
• Build and maintain scientific relationships with HCPs, investigators, and KOLs.
• Support territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs priorities.
• Contribute to expansion of medical footprint and launch readiness.
• Conduct compliant scientific exchange with healthcare professionals.
• Communicate scientific information in a fair-balanced manner.
• Maintain trusted scientific relationships with experts and investigators.
• Support education initiatives and respond to unsolicited medical requests.
• Gather and share medical insights from the field.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for evidence-based decisions.
• Support clinical trial activities within the territory.
