Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Medical Science Liaison to advance pre-launch medical readiness for hepatitis delta virus across the US Central territory. You will identify HDV centers, build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with HCPs, investigators, and KOLs, and share high-quality field insights within compliant MSL boundaries.

Responsibilities include territory mapping, scientific engagement, and supporting trial-related activities as needed. Travel up to 70% within the territory is expected.

Qualifications

• An advanced clinical, medical, or scientific degree, such as a PharmD, MD, PhD, or relevant master’s degree, is required.
• Prior MSL experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience conducting credible, compliant peer-to-peer scientific exchange with HCPs and KOLs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight travel.
• Travel of up to 70% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Pre-launch readiness and HDV ecosystem development.
• Identify, map, and engage key stakeholders involved in HDV diagnosis, referral, and treatment within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local healthcare environment, patient pathways, referral networks, and treatment landscape.
• Build and maintain scientific relationships with healthcare professionals, investigators, and key opinion leaders.
• Support the development and execution of territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs priorities.
• Contribute to the expansion of Vir Bio’s medical footprint and future treatment readiness through scientific engagement and stakeholder development.

• Conduct compliant, high-quality scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.
• Communicate scientific and medical information in a fair-balanced manner, tailored to stakeholder needs.
