Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Medical Science Liaison in Gastroenterology for the Cambridge, MA area. The role focuses on building trusted scientific partnerships with external experts, advancing medical insights, and supporting evidence-generation initiatives in a dynamic field.

The MSL will operate in a field-based capacity with significant travel, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure compliant, impactful scientific exchange and plan territory activities

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a technical, scientific or medical field (MD, PhD, Pharm D,) required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Must reside in territory; this position covers the Northwest territory—CA, NV, OR, ID, WA, MT (subject to change).

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted scientific partner to external experts by conducting timely, appropriate scientific exchanges.
• Execute stakeholder engagement plans to gather data and share medical insights.
• Keep abreast of medical developments to identify research opportunities and support evidence generation.
• Record insights from stakeholder interactions and communicate with internal teams.
• Maintain cross-functional communication while complying with regulatory requirements.
