NYU Langone Health is seeking a Per Diem Ultrasound Technician at the Manhattan Langone Orthopedic Center to perform MSK ultrasound exams and related procedures. The role requires your ability to prepare equipment, communicate clearly with patients, and support physicians during procedures.

Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree, a one-year ultrasound program, and ARDMS registration or eligibility within one year of hire. This position is based on-site in New York, NY.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (Two Years of College) and completion of a one-year ultrasound program.
• Registered by ARDMS or registry eligible to take the Registry exam within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs other duties assigned.
• Cleans and prepares equipment for patient application and sterilizes after each patient.
• Demonstrates knowledge of hospital and radiology information systems as they relate to radiology.
• Explains the procedure and equipment to the patient and assists physicians as needed.
• Implements patient procedures independently following departmental protocols and standards.
