Job summary

The Radiology Service at the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) in Phoenix, Arizona, seeks a Musculoskeletal Radiologist to interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform interventional procedures. You will also handle general radiology duties when not assigned to MSK, and provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary VA setting.

Responsibilities include evaluating imaging orders, coordinating with lab studies, reporting results promptly, and possibly educating radiology

Qualifications

• Must have a Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Residency training in an accredited core radiology specialty leading to board eligibility.
• Board certification or eligibility in radiology preferred for faculty status.

Responsibilities

• Interpret musculoskeletal imaging studies and perform interventional procedures.
• Provide direct patient care within the radiology service.
• Enter radiology reports and related orders into patient charts.
• Participate in resident education and departmental committees.
