Job summary

SGMC Health Careers in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care unit. This Full Time Weekend Day Shift (0645-1915) role focuses on patient assessment, care planning, and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a Georgia RN license with CPR; one year of related ICU experience is preferred, and you will operate clinical equipment and electronic records to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in the State of Georgia.
• CPR certification required.
• One year experience in related specialty preferred.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate clinical equipment and patient information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through assessment and implementation of the nursing process for all age groups cared for on the unit.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Documents care provided.
• Coordinates patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintains an atmosphere aligned with SGMC Health’s mission, vision, values, and standards.
