Job summary

Dudek is seeking an experienced mid-level Western Riverside County MSHP Lead Reviewer to support implementation of the MSHCP. You will review development, infrastructure, and conservation projects for MSHCP consistency, coordinating with applicants, Permittees, RCA, and Wildlife Agencies.

The role involves preparing findings, managing reviews independently, and serving as a task lead for assigned reviews within a dedicated MSHCP implementation team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, botany, environmental science or related natural resources field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in biological resources consulting, environmental planning, natural resources management, regulatory compliance, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Review projects subject to the Western Riverside County MSHCP, including Joint Project Reviews (JPRs) and related activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, Permittees, and Wildlife Agencies to ensure consistency with MSHCP requirements.
• Prepare technical comments, findings documents, and review memoranda supporting MSHCP determinations.
• Maintain project tracking, logs, and documentation per RCA procedures and timelines.
• Collaborate with GIS analysts and other experts to support defensible compliance reviews.
