Motlow State is located in the beautiful rolling hills of middle Tennessee and has four campuses that serve students from eleven counties. Motlow positions are contingent upon funding availability and budget approval.
Tutors work with Disability Services, Writing Centers, Math Labs, and as imbedded peer tutors in certain courses. Tutors are needed for all campuses in a variety of subjects.

A student with the ability to communicate and work well with others. Students will need to demonstrate knowledge level by attaching an unofficial copy of transcripts to his/her/their application. This can be cut and pasted from the student's MyMotlow account or uploaded as an attachment. Students seeking employment in the Writing Centers will also need to attach a 2-10 page writing sample to his/her/their application.
Grades of B or higher are often required in specific courses to be hired as a paid tutor.
Previous tutoring experience is a plus.
Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
